Sunset Family Photography - Main Line Family Photographer | Devon Anne Photography
Sessions are $399 April through November and $250 winter minis begin December through end of March.
Package: Your package includes a 30 minute session at Linvilla Orchards of Media, PA, complimentary outfit styling, private online proofs, 8 digital high-res images of your choice and personal use rights for those images. After viewing proofs you'll have the option to choose extra photos at $20 each or the whole gallery for $199. No additional purchases are required though.
Winter minis are a shortened session at just 20 minutes due to the (usually) colder temperatures. These are limited to engagement/maternity sessions with adults only or families with children ages 4+ only. This package is similar to the above listed, with five images included.
Scheduling: Almost all of our sessions are shot within 90 minutes of sunset for that beautiful soft flattering light. The only exception may be a super dreary day but otherwise we're strict about sunset because we want your portraits to look absolutely magical. Most of our sessions take place Monday, Wednesday and Fridays (with Tuesdays Thursdays set aside for rain dates) and of course the exact start time will depend on the sunset time that week and the weather forecast.
Style: I'm thrilled to push forward with just shooting the yummy candid stuff. I'll give a little bit of direction but otherwise I want to be invisible to capture you guys, being a family, interacting, having real fun, showcasing real toddler tantrums and real snuggles. They may not be the standard portraits that go over the mantle but it's the real life stuff that's so beautiful and I want you to cherish. Does that mean we refuse to shoot a look and smile at the camera type photo? No silly! If the kids are up for it we're all for it. We just don't want to eat up your session time quacking like a duck trying to make a baby smile so we attempt it briefly and then move right back to playtime and snuggles.
Location: I have the awesome opportunity to shoot exclusively at Linvilla Orchards of Media, PA. The landscape is ever changing and we'll show up to anything from a beautiful flower field to dirt roads that look straight out of a painting and of course my favorite place, the peach trees. Plus, I get to boast that I'm the only photographer with exclusive access to their 300 amazing acres! The only drawback is that a working orchard with crop spraying and maintenance does mean I don't know my scenery until I arrive that day with you guys but I must say after being there four years, I've never been dealt an area I didn't find to be picture perfect.
After your session: Within two weeks of your session you will receive a link to view your proofs. I try to provide (approx) 40 images to choose from but this number will vary as every session is a unique experience. If you'd like to order beyond what the package includes please feel free. We offer a la carte extra images for $20 a piece or a flat rate $199 to download everything you see in your gallery. Once selected you'll receive another link to download the finished images along with a print release. Your finished gallery will be linked to the Mpix.com ordering site but we'll also provide additional information on printing upon download.
How to book: If this sounds like a good match for your family portraits please email me to let us know when (approx.) you are interested in booking and we’d be happy to provide available dates. Please note, our fall schedule usually sells out mid-summer so please contact me early. Once a date is set we’ll send over a contract to sign and then some pointers on how to plan your attire.
What to wear: I take pride in making sure that the images I provide you are exactly the style you hired me for so every family will receive complimentary styling. Give us your favorite stores to shop, children's sizes and we'll make easy peasy boards with images of all pieces shown together and linked right to a store where you can purchase. I typically style in pastels, neutrals and muted colors. I choose such a muted color palette so that your attention goes more toward faces than bodies. Plus outdoor scenery can often be so vidid on it's own that bright clothing looks too busy. I like to make sure your clothing accentuates but doesn't distract.
