Jenny and Chris had quite the interesting wedding day. The day started off according to plan with Jenny getting ready at home and some portraits with her family and girls. A beautiful ceremony took place at Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Media, PA and then came time for formal portraits on State Street in Media. We took a few with the wedding party at a little park at the end of state street and then headed for our walk down the main strip for some bride/groom portraits. And that’s when the torrential downpour hit. A minute later Jenny, Chris, and I are squished in the backseat of a non air-conditioned car waiting for the rain to FINALLY stop. As horrible as the conditions seemed at the time I’m so thankful for that rain. The wet scenery brought out the most vivid colors in their photos and made for some very stunning images 🙂
The rest of the night was full of good food and lots of dancing at the Townhouse Restaurant in Media. And just before I left for the night we scored a very awesome dip photo on the wet streets of State Street. Thank you very very much to the kind strangers who helped us stop traffic to get this shot!
