Lorenzo – Studio Newborn Session

Love love love when I get to go super simple for a newborn session. Creams for a classic look and minimal setups mean I can achieve so much more in our session time. My two personal faves from this session though would have to be Lorenzo’s hand wrapped around momma’s finger as she feeds him and the closeup of his amazing hair!

Pitone Family Maternity Session

I’m absolutely in love with this session. When Eveline asked me about doing a maternity session in January and she volunteered to do them outdoors, even if it snowed, I knew this session was going to have some epic photos! Come day the day of Eveline’s session and we almost cancelled due to the extreme fog. We don’t have fog too often here so I had no idea how it would affect the photos. I’m so happy we didn’t cancel or I would have missed out on some truly stunning images. Our session started in Eveline’s beautiful home with portraits in front of the master bedroom windows. Natural light is great to work with but with even more diffused light from the fog her photos had a gorgeous natural glow. Following indoor portraits we drove about a mile up the road to Marsh Creek State Park. Upon arriving we learned that the creek had been drained and were able able to walk all the way out to the rocks that normally would have been far underwater. Between the drained bank and thick fog we ended up with almost a dream-like setting for some very unique maternity portraits.

Enjoy! And thanks Pitone family for being so adventurous :)
